With tightening budgets and needed repairs it is time to consider doing it yourself. However, having the right type of tools to complete the job is essential, whether you are fixing the door hinges or putting up crown molding to give some character to your living room.

Speed - you can have variable speed option in these cordless drills. You need to buy a drill which will provide you with the appropriate amount of speed that you want. Depending upon the speed you will be able to screw on things a lot quicker or even slower. So keep the speed in mind while buying it.

Why is this important? If you have a relatively new PC the only problem you will get are error messages relating to the clock on start up. No big deal. If your PC is older then a low battery could be a nightmare. I had a PC which once lithium stocks copyright every few months refused to boot. If you are looking to get more power and torque from a cordless drill, then it may justify the cost of getting a more expensive version. But if you are merely looking to drive screws in your own home, then it would not be a wise move to waste your hard-earned money on a powerful 19.2 volt cordless drilling. It is much harder to use too, because of the additional weight. Under these circumstances, a lighter version would suit you best.

Another thing to remember is not to store those batteries in the charger as well. This will draw energy away too, and cause your battery to die off sooner than you expect. Keep it away from high heat or extreme coldness. Heat tends to cause damage to your Lithium battery stocks while exposing it to low temperatures over a period of time will draw its charging capacity.

What are you going to be using the drill for? Let's say that you are planning on building some light furniture and maybe will use the drill on weekends mostly. You probably don't need a super powerful drill with the most expensive battery technology. You could probably get by with a 12 volt drill, no need for hammering action, and you could probably do fine with a NiCad battery as opposed to Lithium Ion. Sure, a Lithium mines Ontario Ion battery would be really nice, and would charge faster, but if you aren't planning on using the drill for continuous hours at a time you could save a few bucks in this department.

So how long does it last? Anything from 3 to 9 years if you search this question on Google. Everyone has a different opinion. In my experience about 6 years is the average. It's basically a large watch battery and is constantly supplying a trickle of power to the motherboard. Just like many of my watches the battery can last 2 years or up to 6 years (Fossil watches don't seem to last long for me for some reason). How long was the PC in the warehouse before it was delivered? And, how long was the motherboard in the warehouse before it was installed in the PC?

With any battery, every time you charge it, it loses a bit of its performance and power. Over time, that battery will die, and after you give it a proper funeral, you'll have to change it. The same is true with your iPOD. Eventually, you will have to replace the iPOD battery. You can either change the iPOD battery itself or purchase a new iPOD Nano . But, because your iPOD battery is a lithium-ion beast, you won't need to worry about that for a while!
